Malgrat de Mar is a town located in the northern area of the Barcelona Coast and to the south of the Costa Brava. Its beaches of coarse, golden sand stretch for over five kilometres. The town is located at around 3-4 metres above sea level and it enjoys a Mediterranean coastal climate with over 300 days of sun a year.
In the town's old quarter, there are several points of interest. One of these is San Nicolás Church, which has a Neoclassical façade and an octagonal bell tower. It is known as the "cathedral of the coast" due to its size. You will also find medieval buildings and examples of modern architecture.
The mountain on which the castle is located is crowned by a park that has stunning panoramic views of the town and its surroundings. You could also visit the recently designed Francesc Macià Park.
In addition to Malgrat de Mar itself, there are many places near the hotel that will complete your holiday. We'll be more than happy to provide you with information about these and how best to go about them.
